Looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate with friends, family, or colleagues? Instala DIY Studio is the perfect place for birthdays, hens parties, team bonding, or just a special get-together.
We don’t do cookie-cutter packages — every private event is tailored to your group. You’ll have the whole studio to yourselves, choose your favourite activities, and enjoy a relaxed creative experience together.

How It Works

Pick your date & group size

Private hire is available for 12+ people on weekdays with a minimum spend of $800, and 15+ people on weekends with a minimum spend of $1,000
Choose one or two activities

Options include perfume making, candle making, jewellery, fluid bear, decoden and more.

You’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks to share during the session.

Large Groups (35+)
Hosting a bigger celebration or company function? For groups of 35+, we can bring our workshops to your venue. Learn more about our customised & mobile events

Payment & Deposits

A $10 deposit per person is required to secure your private event.

The final balance is paid in one payment on the day.

We will contact you by email or phone to confirm your booking and discuss any special requests.

Final Numbers

Final guest numbers must be confirmed 3 days before the event.

If your group size drops below the private hire minimum, you may still enjoy the private event by paying the equivalent of the minimum charge.

If extra guests join on the day, they can simply pay then.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
Cancellation

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will result in the deposit being forfeited, as this timeframe makes it difficult for us to fill the booking slot.
Reschedule

Reschedule requests made 7 days or more before the event date may be moved to another available date with no fee.

Reschedule requests made within 7 days of the event date will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required for the new booking.
No-Show

If guests do not arrive for the booking without notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
Final Numbers

Final participant numbers must be confirmed 3 days before the event.

If fewer guests attend on the day, the original confirmed number will still be charged.
Late Arrivals

Sessions will begin at the scheduled time.

Extra time cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals.
